Yeah, baby!

What's that score? 76250? REALLY? HAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! And I don't care if someone's better than me, that score ROCKS!

I finally made it past the 5th stage, got through the 6th stage, and got to the 7th state, which is a repeat of the first stage but with pickles n such. WOW. You though the 5th stage was hard?! DAYUM!

I win..?

So apparently I bid on Life Force. I don't remember doing this, but I won it today. Can't complain too much I guess, since I won it for $0.01 + $3.99 shipping. I feel like such a dork, not remembering what I bid on. I really shouldn't do that anymore!

Yesterday's Score

I'm slowly inching my way to 100,000. You all better watch out.

Burgertime scores for this evening

Made it to the 5th level for the first time this evening. That is a very, very, very hard level. You make one wrong move (and if you have no peppers) you're screwed.

Burgertime Frustration

This is my best so far, 38450. I played today for about an hour and wanted to throw my controller into the TV. Partially cause I haven't played this game much before and I'm not as good as I want to be, partially because my arrow buttons kept sticking and it didn't help my skill level any to just walk straight into the bad guys. But I'm satisfied with the score there.... for now.

Games from my trip

Here's my games from this weekend. Joust was the auction I won from eBay, which is in very good condition. Arkanoid and Adventures of Lolo were from my brother. They are also in very good condition after I cleaned them up a bit.

So my trip to California was a bust (for the video games at least). I went to one of the shops I used to go to growing up, called M & M Games, and it was the same old same old. Get ignored cause I'm a girl and stuff is way overpriced. Nothing I had to have. I also went to an indoor swap meet and encountered the same overpriced problem. And also nothing I had to have. I guess I'm just leary about buying in stores anymore since I know with patience I can get them on eBay cheaper.

We'll see what this week brings me in the way of games.

Won Joust

'Nuff said. My max bid was $0.50, and I won it for $0.01 plus $2.50. I think I like this seller. It's the same one I won Q*bert from, so I hope to receive the same quality game as the previous one was. Unfortunately the Bubble Bobble that I was bidding on from the same seller went up to $9.50, so I did not win that game.

I'm going out of town this weekend, so I just might hit up some used game shops that I used to visit in near my hometown to see what I can find. I have a few titles on ebay that I'm watching so we'll see how the money situation is when I get back from my trip. Have a good weekend y'all.

Monster Party is a bust

So I got Monster Party in the mail today. To my surprise it was not in "very good" condition as the auction stated it to be. I'm not sure how well you can see the blemishes on the cartridge from the photo, but the whole front end is discolored, almost like it had been sitting in the sun. The label isn't too great either. The plastic cover on the label is lifting and looks wrinkled. So I can say that I'm very disappointed in this purchase. I've bought games from ebay for less than this $3.75 auction in pretty much perfect condition. All I know is that I won't be purchasing from this seller again. If you are interested in seeing the auction picture, check it out here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260451688740&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT.

I bid $0.50 on a Bubble Bobble and a Joust game, but I highly doubt I will win either of them. They both end in six days and are both from the same seller that I got Q*bert from. I could care less about the Joust game, but if I won Bubble Bobble for that price (they are both $2.50 shipping) I would be so excited! I'm watching a billion other best offer auctions that I plan on testing my luck on when I get paid next week, but no other gaming plans as of yet.

Got Q*bert

This came fairly quickly. It's in excellent shape and didn't require much cleaning at all. I'm not that great at this game only because the controls are a bit much to get used to. But I'm sure with practice I could get it down no problem. I've played this in the arcade before when I was younger and remember being alright at it, so it could come back to me!

I got an email from Paypal saying that Monster Party was shipped on Sunday, which is impossible, but at least that means it should be going out from wherever it's coming from today. Kind of sucks cause I won Monster Party first, but am getting it last. Oh well.

I can't wait to get paid (even though I just got paid a few days ago) so I can bid on some more things! :)
